- Setting up of the 42 Rural Internet Centers (PID - Pusat Internet Desa)
The scope of work entails the following: - - Provide ICT trianing for communities
- Undertake community participation programs
- Provide centralized monitoring and reporting system
- Development of local content
- Setting up of 17 pilot USP centers under the Universal Service Provision program.
The scope of work is similar but the implementation model is different and a few new key processes were incorporated. - The setting up of 118 Community Broadband Centers (CBC) and Community Broadband Library (CBL).
The project is ongoing and to-date 35 centers are operational. Model and structures is totally different from those of PID and USP Centers |
